When it comes to the question of Where to stay in Seville, the homestays in Seville offer a unique experience, and make you feel right at home.
Homestays in Seville, Spain, are in plenty. Some offer just the basics and some others go all out to make you feel like royalty. There are choices that will leave you confused. Here is our pick of the best of the best.
1. Welldone Metropol
You could call this a homestay or an apart-hotel, but this gem in the city, offers a great view of the Metropol Parasol, one of the largest wooden structure in the whole of Europe. And what a great view it is! This lovely little place is right on the Metropol Plaza and that is why you get such an amazing view from the room. All rooms have air conditioning, and the kitchen too is fully-equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and the likes. The rooms are quite stylish, probably inspired the wooden structure they are located next to, and are well-maintained. There is also a little sunbathing area with a massage shower…isn’t that wonderful! The staff here too are very helpful and don’t hover around you all the time, which means this becomes like your own private house. The private terrace offers some great views of the city and a beautiful sunset. Also, since the place is in the city centre, everything you need will just be a few steps away – be it the restaurants, sightseeing or shopping.

2. La Parada del Marqués
This is a fabulous place, which is located in the Old Town region and like the area itself, the place is so tastefully done. It has been renovated recently, but still retains the essence of what this place primarily was. All the rooms come with a desk, while certain rooms also have a private balcony. Clean and bright rooms replete with all the facilities like air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, the place also offers a buffet breakfast. Each and every room is so tastefully done and each room’s interior is different from the other. The entrance is all marbles and tiles, which gives you a feeling as if you are in an old-style bungalow.
On some days, you might find the owners of the place itself welcoming you and you can also chat up with them about the history of the place. The furniture and the whole ambience gives you an old-world feel and if you have the time, you could also explore the hotel/guest-house. The private terrace, offers a great view of the old town and has a sun-bathing lounge, if you are just in a mood to relax. The people at the reception are really friendly and helpful and will make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible.
3. Hostal San Vicente II
Located in Nervión district of Seville, Hostal San Vicente II, exudes an old Andalusian charm. The front facade as you stand before it and the huge courtyard inside this old traditional Sevillian town house, is fascinating, to say the least. The decor inside the building too is as fascinating as the exterior, but the rooms are very much modern and has kept up with the times. The single room is surprisingly spacious, and the same goes for the bathroom too.
Although they are single rooms, they have everything that a room should have – hooks, drawers and hangers – it is so cleverly designed. The place also offers laundry service. The people at the reception are very friendly and helpful. They provided a detailed map of Seville in Spain with a few useful advices about what are the best places to visit and everything else you need to know about the surrounding area. They are available the entire day, but they also leave behind their numbers behind, in case of any emergency in the night-time.
4. Casa Boutique La Pila del Pato
This place is where the Sevillian traditional and modern architecture coexist in perfect harmony. The building was renovated a couple of years back, but the essence of this house still remains. High ceilings, wooden beams, patio with marble floors, rooms have damero tiles and some amount of brickworks too. This traditional Sevillan guest house has some simple, yet elegant decor. The only drawback might be the fact that it lacks an elevator, so as not to spoil the natural beauty of the building.
The rooms have only fans, but each one different from the other, and aesthetically designed. The people here at the reception are very helpful. In case you reach late in the evening, they will not be present, but they leave you entry codes, through which your settling in process will go very smooth.
5. Hommyhome Casa Assle
Located in the Casco Antiguo of Seville, this is luxury living at a homestay…never imagined mentioning these two words in the same sentence, but that is what this place is. The place is quite modern and you can find a lot of Moroccan influence in its ambience and decor. There are two roof terraces which offers a great view of the city. The rooms itself are modern and are spacious and so are the bathrooms. The exterior and the interior of the luxurious building will prompt you to explore the homestay itself first, before you even head out for a tour of the city.
This ‘holiday apartment’ is just the place you would like to stay in with impeccable cleanliness and stunning decor. The staff too are friendly and as soon as you arrive, you are given an entire list of restaurants and tapas bars nearby, which are also worth a visit. They will also help you book tickets for sightseeing and the world-famous flamenco shows.
6. Alcazar de Eva Maria
Located in the Old Town of Seville, this homestay is just the right mix of traditional and modern Sevillian town house. The rooms are air-conditioned and some of them feature a seating area and also a fully equipped kitchenette with a dining area. Some other rooms also have a balcony. Alcazar de Eva Maria is a well-equipped property, where all the rooms come with a heating system, climate control and a personal safe, while the bathroom has a hairdryer, free toiletries and towels. The beds are so comfortable here and have orthopaedic mattress, down comforter and down pillows.
The bathroom is spacious too with a rain shower, a walk-in shower and a bidet. The walk-in shower is especially amazing, with a touch of wooden panel. The modern homestay also has a terrace from which you get a stunning view of the Old Town.
The homestays in Seville are diverse, but offer great services. While most of them are modern, some others are also modern, but have retained the traditional touch to it. Any which way, all these homestays offer great views and unique décor. You will feel completely at home at these homestays. So, pack your bags and book a trip to Spain for a mesmerising holiday experience with your loved ones!
